So good! Was just debating this w my sister ~ does an author need to have affection for his her characters? I slipped right off the Three Body Problem, for example, which so many loved ~ just felt characters were blanks.
Thanks! If not affection, then empathy, at least. Right? I couldn't get into The Three Body Problem for the same reason.
